Pride of Britain honour for Mr Asif Hasan.

Medology Global congratulates Mr Asif Hasan, pioneering paediatric cardiac surgeon and Freeman Hospital stalwart, on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Pride of Britain Awards. Over a remarkable three-decade career, Mr Hasan performed more than 4,000 open-heart operations and helped establish one of the world's foremost centres for children's cardiac care. In 2025, Medology Global was proud to welcome Mr Hasan to Newcastle, giving our students the rare opportunity to learn directly from a figure who has shaped the landscape of modern British medicine.
